Description
If you enjoy your Trial Flight and want to learn to fly then we would welcome you back to teach you to fly a glider.
From a casual hobby, to an inexpensive way to fly, gliding is an exhilarating sport offering people of all ages, except the very young, the chance to experience silent, powerless flight with a British Gliding Association instructor, seeing the world from a bird’s point of view.
Gliders can fly for as long as there is lift, typically in the UK, this will mean using thermals. The best gliding days will allow for a glider to stay in the air from 9am through until sunset.
If you return to train then you will typically fly for between a few minutes (no thermals) and about half and hour. While training you will normally either get 1 long flight or 3 short flights to advance your flying.

Really terrific experience. I had well over 30 minutes flying over my local area where I have lived for over 40 years. There were views over to London with the O2 Arena, Thames Barrier clearly visible. To the east there was Biggin Hill and to the south the Surrey Hills. Steve my pilot was great managing to find a thermal which allowed a prolonged flight. Many thanks.
